After graduating with a double major in Math/Computer Science and Computer/Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, Ben had only one thing on his mind: to find a warm place where he could surf and kiteboard. He got part way there when he moved to Seattle to help Microsoft build their desktop publishing application (Microsoft Publisher) and create the first search engine. When he came to Maui for a wedding five years later, he knew he had found his home. He started two coffee shops (LiveWire Cafe) on island, kept his skills sharp by doing software development consulting and 15+ years later he's still here.
Growing up in Orlando, Florida, Eric’s understanding of tourism evolved organically. Starting in high-end restaurants and then morphing into roles in event planning, operations, sales and marketing, he was Sales Manager at the Walt Disney World Resort before moving west to Vancouver, British Columbia. There he started two wellness-based businesses- Eric Stephenson Registered Massage Therapy and Good-to-Go Raw Foods while keeping close to his hospitality roots with the iconic Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel. After six years in Canada, Maui began to beckon with her raw beauty, sense of adventure, and relaxed demeanor not to mention her warming sunshine. So impassioned by the magic of Maui, he loves to help others experience it as he does.
